The Google Play Awards will take place at I/O on May 18th 2017 Can you believe that another year has flown by? It's almost time for the Google Play Awards again, and there's a very nice selection of nominees. In an event that'll run at the developer festival I/O 2017, the Google Play Awards is a great opportunity for game lovers to honour their favourite and standout Android titles across 12 categories. These include Best AR Experience, Best Multiplayer Game, Standout Indie, and more. It's nice to see a mix of games/apps in these categories. We've got the fan favourites like the absolutely amazing Kingdom: New Lands, Pokemon GO, and Reigns, but also lesser-known games like Mars Mars (which I recommend playing). The Google Play Awards will take place on May 18th at 6:30 PM (PT), and you can find the full list of nominees .
