When it comes to VR, gamers tend to ask the wrong question. Its not a matter of Will VR take off? but What will it be when it finally does? VR in general, and PS VR in particular, is at the start of a ten-year curve. Developers are finding their feet and discovering the rules of this new tech. Were in uncharted waters, and that should be cherished. Its easy to want to race to the finish line and demand that killer app, the Grand Theft Auto of VR that will instantly unlock the potential of virtual worlds. Could Rockstar be bringing L.A. Noire to the Nintendo Switch? Yes, I know. Now that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle has officially been announced the rumour well's gone dry...until today, that is.
Flagged up by earlier this week, the rumours flying around the Switch world at the moment regard a certain detective game, L.A. Noire. According to multiple sources, the game could potentially be getting remastered and re-released not only on the Switch, but also on Xbox One and PS4.
Cooler still, it's also rumoured that the aforementioned remaster is likely to get a first person mode, similar to the one used in Grand Theft Auto V. This should also be compatible with PSVR for that true, immersive experience.
